The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) hosted the Inaugural Smart Policing National Meeting on May 19-20, 2010 in Alexandria, Virginia. The meeting represented the first of three opportunities for the ten Smart Policing Initiative (SPI) sites to gather together to collaborate on project activities, share best practices and lessons learned, and learn about innovative policing techniques.
