The Smart Policing Initiative presented a webinar on “A Question of Sustainability: How Do We Keep What Works Working?” Ms. Nola Joyce, Chief Administrative Officer for the Philadelphia Police Department and a Smart Policing Initiative Subject Matter Expert, facilitated this online seminar. During this presentation, Ms. Joyce led a discussion and learning session covering the definition of sustainability, practices and principles to sustain smart policing initiatives and why, and how to effectively embed innovations in organizations such as police departments. Ms. Joyce also touched on her personal experiences with integrating and sustaining smart policing in the Philadelphia Police Department.
