Problem Oriented Policing in the Context of Smart Policing

The Smart Policing Initiative presented a webinar on “Problem Oriented Policing in the Context of Smart Policing" in November 2011. Michael S. Scott, the Director of the Center for Problem-Oriented Policing, Inc., a clinical professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and a Smart Policing Initiative Subject Matter Expert, facilitated this online seminar. He led a discussion and learning session covering how Problem-Oriented Policing principles and methods can be applied to the particular crime problems being addressed by the Smart Policing Initiative sites, and the available resources of the Center for Problem-Oriented Policing.
